Gigil is a passion project of Mr. Ishwar Kanwarjani & Ms. Urmila Tambe, that perfectly blends the excellence of hospitality and gourmet cooking. A brand that stranded off as premium handcrafted chocolates has slowly evolved over years into a fresh & innovative cafe menu. With one quaint cafe parked in the mumbai suburbs, the brand handles more than 100 footfalls a day. However we strongly believe that Gigil is more than just a food place. Gigil is synonymous with quality. In a short span of time we have continued to deliver exceptional gastronomy experiences. Our menus can be curated to impress and our food is worthy of its great reputation. A new era of Gigil, gives an opportunity to fulfill even greater aspirations in delivering a most personal & immersive dining experience.

Founder
Ishwar’s appreciation of nature’s diversity and his endless experimentation in the kitchen and garden are the driving forces in his passion. Ishwar leads the Gigil team with a focus on excellence, innovation and hospitality. He was inspired to cook at a young age and always had a passion for the FNB industry. Once a full time business owner of a renowned garment company, Ishwar was motivated to make a debut in the FNB industry after he helped his friend with revamping his cafe menu which received an enormous positive response. Ishwar has successfully flourished in the industry since the past six years and is currently the founder of GIGIL, a quaint cafe in Mumbai suburbs
Ms. Urmila Tambe

Urmila brings with her both a powerhouse of energy and rigor together with a deep harmony in the way she approaches restaurant guests and her team, alike. For Urmila, the essence of hospitality is the simplicity of welcoming people in and taking care of them. A passionate chocolatier from years, Urmila has provided chocolates and desserts for various occasions, parties, corporate events and more. With an avid experience and an eye for details urmila has mastered the art of dessert.
Urmila and Ishwar have partnered to create Gigil.
